Buy Online 1. Make your selection through the menus at our purchase pages. Please read the shipping and taxes policies on this page. 2. Payment for most online purchases is processed through either our Square or PayPal online payment accounts, depending on the type of payment (by invoice, online payment with shipping added at checkout, online payment with free shipping). We use these services because they provide safety for buyers. Use your credit card, debit card, Apple Pay, or even your PayPal account if you have one. Buy by Invoice 1. Phone or Email your order and an invoice will be emailed to you. 2. Be sure to let us know if you wish to pay by mail-in check or wire transfer for both of which we issue a "static" invoice, or pay online for which we issue an invoice with live links to our online payment processing. 3. Invoices are issued only after your confirmed intent to order has been received. 4. After the invoice is paid, your order is processed. Order Minimums • Flooring: 200 sq ft. Preferred minimum 400 sq ft. Smaller orders are at higher prices. • “Topup” orders to existing clients for 100-200 sq ft order may be accepted under additional conditions of higher per sq ft pricing, a handling surcharge, and a broken pack fee. No exceptions. Time limit: 6 months after original order. • Lumber: 300 bd ft or as published at the species page. • Moldings: Must be purchased with minimum flooring and/or lumber order. No stand alone orders of moldings are accepted.
Preparation & Shipping of Your Order • Your order is prepared and shipping arranged as soon as payment has been received and cleared. The cost of shipping is in addition to the cost of the wood in your order (except samples purchased online). • Mainland orders are shipped from Virginia, USA. • Hawai'i orders are shipped to the nearest mainland sea port. • We keep you informed at each step of the process, including providing you pre-dispatch photos of your order and tracking information for your order. Volume Orders: • Order requests for over 3,000 sq ft of flooring and 2,000 board feet of lumber qualify for volume pricing (POA), and require a customer Purchase Order. • A Purchase Order does not imply guarantee of supply until our policies and terms have been accepted by the customer, after which an invoice is then issued. Terms are re-stated on the invoice. • Please ensure that your purchase order includes your and your company's full name, billing address, shipping address, complete contact information for you/ your company including phone numbers and email address. • If the proposed order is to be received by a third party, please also provide a phone number for a representative of that third party so that the shipping company can call them direct to arrange a delivery day and time. • Payment of invoice must be in advance by wire transfer/ direct deposit or cashier's check only. • Shipping is additional on wholesale orders. • Wholesale orders of our other products may be determined at our discretion and all of our policies, terms and guidelines apply, including these for wholesale orders.
Returns & cancellations • All orders are non-refundable. • Installation must comply with the guidelines of the National Wood Flooring Association - www.nwfa.org/contact-us.aspx • Installed wood products are deemed accepted by the customer and do NOT qualify for cancellation or return. • Cancellation timing:
Cancellations received (i) prior to handling, packing and shipping preparation incur a $200.00 administrative fee, plus credit charges if the order was paid by credit card, will be deducted from your refund.
Cancellations received (ii) after an order has been packed but before shipping, and less than 5 days after payment of invoice, will incur a $200.00 administrative fee plus re-stocking fee of 10%, plus credit charges if the payment has been processed by credit card and any cancellation charges levied by the booked freight carrier.
Cancellations received (iii) after an order has been packed and has been stored by us at customer's request for 5 or more days after the payment of invoice will incur a 20% re-stocking fee, $400.00 administrative fee, plus credit charges if the payment was by credit card, plus any cancellation charges levied by the booked freight carrier, and storage fees at our facility.
After an order has shipped: If you cancel your order after it has been shipped, notify us within 30 days of the shipping date in order to receive a partial refund minus the following conditions and deductions: (i) $400.00 administrative fee AND 20% restocking fee; (ii) payment processing fees; iii) shipping charges and insurance to return the order to our warehouse; (iv) returned orders must be received by us UNopened and must arrive in UNdamaged condition; (v) carrier charges to return your order to us may be different from those originally charged to you because carriers rates vary daily at their discretion and they charge re-consignment fees and other administrative charges of their own; (vi) partial refunds are only paid if the order is returned to us subject to the terms outlined here. NOTE: There are no refunds of shipping charges for orders already dispatched to you. Reason: The freight carrier has already been pre-paid for delivery of your order and since they do not refund shipping for outbound and return trips we cannot refund you payments already made to the freight company.
• Cancellations of custom milled and speciality request items like stair treads with "return" (here "return" = bull nosed edges on stairs' exposed ends) will not be accepted.
Order Error by Customer:
All responsibility for customer errors in ordered products rests with the customer. AustralianCypress.US disclaims any and all liability for incorrect calculations by customers of quantities ordered.
If an incorrect calculation by a customer results in that customer needing to purchase additional product to complete their project, that additional purchase is subject to all the terms and conditions of AustralianCypress.US.
If a customer orders additional product to top-up an insufficient order, shipping charges will apply if the top-up is less than our required purchase minimums.
If an incorrect calculation by a customer results in an excess of product ordered by the customer, all our terms and conditions including our Returns policy are fully applicable.
If a customer makes an error in product type chosen and ordered, our entire returns policy is applicable.
“Top-Up Orders”: Top-up orders tend to be necessary when people have measured their floor area incorrectly or have underestimated their waste allowance.
All top-up orders are supplied as
a minimum of 100 sq ft,
whole cartons or bundles only,
and must be requested within 6 months of the original order.
Warranty on Pre-finished flooring: • Pre-finished solid flooring: A realistic and honorable 25 year limited residential warranty on the flooring finish. • Pre-finished engineered flooring: 15 years against delimitation of the veneer. Read more… • Warranty is serviced by our supplying manufacturer.
Acceptance of Terms: • Payment constitutes the customer's acceptance of our terms, policies and guidelines for orders up to 3,000 sq ft for flooring and minimum orders for all other products . • Wholesale orders: Acceptance of our terms and policies is a pre-condition of wholesale orders for over 3,000 sq ft of flooring, and for wholesale orders of any of our other products. • Our terms, policies and guidelines are not negotiable.
